After one year of focused research and development and a strong collaboration with the international skate team, TSG today announces the introduction of its new "Evolution" skate helmet. With the design and development of this new helmet TSG is going to continue the success of the long time established Skate/BMX helmet, which is now a standard in US skate parks, thanks to its look, its function and its great acceptance by skaters since its introduction early 90's.

The new design features reduced volume at the curves, and is optimally adapted to the anatomical shape of the cranium, allowing the helmet to set lower on the head. This avoids an unpopular bulky look as the helmet seems to fuse with the head. The lower cut side panels of the new helmet increase the safeness of the rider's temples and area around the ears, so that it optimally protects the lateral parts of the head even during the worst uncontrolled slams. Additional to this all around protection, the Evolution helmet is convincing due to its comfortable fit. The new aerodynamic designed heat sucking 14 hole ventilation system offers a great climate and improves the air exchange process. Small air channels in the inner foam push the air from the front to the back to pull the heat away from your head. So you don't have to bother with a sweat soaked helmet anymore.

A soft cotton lining together with exchangeable padding supports the comfortable fit. To simplify the replacement, TSG designed pre-molded pads that perfectly fit to the curves of the helmet and therefore avoid pleats that could generate dents.

The anatomically shaped chin strap offers additional safety whatever move is done. The "Evolution" meets EN 1078 and CPSC safety standards.

There are two sizes of Powell TSG RAT helmets, a Small/Medium size, and a Large/Extra Large size
